Hamlet review!

I know I normally don't write about books nor read vintage/old books, but if I wrote about this book then it would actually matter reading it, so, here I am, 1 day after finishing reading.

But now, let's get started! (Oh, by the way, I'm also going to make another blog about some friends I met and the incredible thing we did in Soledad! So be attentive to the blog if you want to make sure you get that!).

First things First:

Who is Shakespeare?

Shakespeare was a British writer and poet in the 1500s.  Since he was little he loved the theater, so he started writing for them, one of his most famous writings was Romeo and Juliet, he was born in the year 1564 and died in 1616 in the UK.

But enough about that, let's actually talk about his writing Hamlet:

To put it in the minimum words possible, Hamlet is about a king who was murdered and his ghost appears to his son telling him to kill the one who killed him. End of story.

I'm not going to lie, it's difficult to read his books, and here's why:

1. As he was from the 1500s, he had another type of English, I mean like old English, so while reading the book I found a lot of words that I don't know or that we don't use anymore, so it was hard trying to understand what the book was saying.

2. As I said before, he wrote for the theater, so you'll actually find phrases for the direction of the play, and if you are not paying attention then you won't be able to understand the book and when is the directing part.

3. The book is confusing 😑 because of the weird words and the old English plus the instructions for the theater director.

So, to conclude:

I didn't enjoy reading this book at all, but I would love to pay to watch the theater doing this play, I personally think that the book was great if you want to read something old, and stuff, you know, it was curious because In the 1500s the book actually rimed, but here in the 2000s it actually doesn't rime, so that's that.

The thing I did enjoy while reading was imagining the voices of every character, so that was cool.
